Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 19, 2026
Last Updated: August 19, 2026
1. Introduction
GenAI – AI Video Generator ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App") and related services. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
This Privacy Policy also serves as the required privacy disclosure for our App distributed through the Apple App Store and is accessible both within the App and at this URL.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique identifier to create and manage your account. With Apple Sign-In, you may choose to hide your email; in that case, Apple provides us with a relay email address.
- Content You Generate: Text prompts you enter, images you upload, and the AI-generated images and videos produced from them are stored to allow you to access your creation history.
- Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we retain your messages and contact details to resolve your inquiry.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Identifier: A pseudonymous device identifier is collected to enforce limits on the free video generation available before account creation. It is used for abuse prevention and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Purchase & Subscription Data: We receive product, price, currency, transaction identifiers, subscription status, and purchase or renewal timestamps from Apple via RevenueCat to credit your account. We do not store your payment card information.
- Account-Linked Service Usage: We store credit transactions, generation settings and status, creation counts, download counts, and related timestamps so we can provide history, enforce limits, support customers, and operate the service.
- Log Data: Server logs may include IP addresses, request timestamps, and error information for security and debugging purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your user account.
- To provide AI image and video generation by processing your prompts and source images with Google AI services.
- To manage your credit balance and process in-app purchases via Apple and RevenueCat.
- To authenticate your identity and maintain the security of your account.
- To deliver your generated images and videos and maintain your creation history.
- To respond to support inquiries and resolve issues.
- To improve the App's features, performance, and user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising purposes, sell your personal data to third parties, or share your data with third parties except as described below.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share information with the following trusted third-party service providers solely to operate the App and provide our services:
- Apple Inc. / Apple Sign-In: Authentication service. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google LLC / Google Sign-In: Authentication service. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Vertex AI (Veo) & Gemini: Your text prompts and any source images are transmitted to Google's services for video generation, image generation, and prompt enhancement. Governed by Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
- RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat receives an opaque account identifier and purchase transaction or entitlement information to manage subscription status. An existing subscriber record may temporarily retain a legacy email-based identifier while it is reconciled to the opaque identifier so paid access and purchase history are not lost. Governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Google Cloud Storage: Generated images and videos are stored in private storage and delivered through time-limited links. Media selected for an explicitly published gallery may be publicly accessible; personal creations are not published automatically.
- Render and Microsoft Azure (Backend Hosting): Current and earlier App versions may connect to backend API infrastructure hosted by Microsoft Azure or Render during our service migration. Both environments use the same account database and private Google Cloud Storage configuration so existing accounts, credits, and creations remain available.
- MongoDB Atlas: User account data, credit balances, purchase history, generated image and video records, and service-usage records are stored in a MongoDB database.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect our rights, property, or the safety of our users.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal information and generated content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services.
Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the App. Upon deletion, your account data, credits, and image and video history are permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days. Some data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days before permanent deletion, or longer if required by law.
Data Deletion Requests: To request deletion of specific data or for data portability requests, contact us at support@veo3gen.app.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and our servers.
- JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication for secure API access.
- Secure credential storage on your device using iOS Keychain-backed secure storage.
- Access controls limiting which personnel can access user data.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (see Section 5).
- Portability: Request a portable copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection / Restriction: Object to or request restriction of certain data processing activities.
- Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@veo3gen.app. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe we may have information from or about a child, please contact us at support@veo3gen.app.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@veo3gen.app.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
11. Tracking & Analytics
We do not use advertising SDKs or engage in cross-app tracking. We do not use the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for advertising purposes. We do not currently include an advertising analytics SDK. Operational account-linked service usage and server logs are described in Section 2.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
